Aloha! This place is absolutely amazing. The food is 1000% Authentic Hawaiian and should I mention that it is Super reasonably priced. I took one bite of the chicken Katsu and my body was doing the hula . The Katsu was thick and juicy and the sauce… !!!! And we were literally having a fork fight over the macaroni salad. The grilled chicken was so good it seemed as if it was blessed by a Queen Liliuokalani herself. We live across the Bay Bridge, but we will definitely be back in a couple weeks bc there is no way I can live without this restaurant in my life.
Coconut shrimp was so good! Ordered it on DoorDash and it did not disappoint.
Been exploring for quite some time for a good Hawaiian food place and Im pleased to say that I found it. Straight forward menu, friendly staff and very helpful. The food was AMAZING! Fresh ingredients, cook to order. Flavor profile is on point! The portions are very generous. Would 100% recommend.
We loved the food. We got this for a moana themed family movie night. Drive 1hr just to try it and my family loved it. The people were so nice to my babby sister gave her chocolates and the food was better than expected and we loved the juice as well.
Best poke place I’ve been to. Great prices for the food and love the loco moco! One time, our food came out late but they added in a spam musubi free of cost for the wait which was a nice surprise.
I lived in Hawaii for 5 years and this is the exact plate lunches I would get there! What a find! The chicken teriyaki was delicious. Kalua pork and bbq chicken were right on, and the Mac salad was perfect. Very flavorful and huge portions! They even had Hawaiian sun juices and tea to go along with. Definitely will visit whenever we drive through! My only complaint is that the bathroom was dank and unkempt and the tables and chairs were sticky.
I've only ordered through doordash and done takeout. But I make a point to order from them every time I'm in the area or visiting family. Their food is absolutely delicious and the portions are awesome! My favorite is the Hawaiian BBQ Short Ribs. There isn't anything on the menu that I don't like. It's a great restaurant. Whenever I've gone in for take out, it's always clean and the staff is very friendly.
This is a hidden gem in Arbutus! Tucked away at the end of a strip mall. So many great things at this place! Stopped in for a quick dinner. Can order ahead or at the restaurant. We decided to eat in. Plenty of tables to eat inside. The service was quick. Food is fresh and delicious! The combination plates are so much food - you could split it! The fried fish and shrimp was really good. The BBQ and Chicken Katsu was also tasty. I enjoyed the macaroni salad too. Looking forward to coming back and trying more things! They also have Poke bowls.
